The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is a professional organisation formed in 1965. Landscape Architects are concerned with the planning, design and management of our environment. They are increasingly acting at the community and regional level in Australia as well as in the traditional role of agent of a client concerned with specific sites and purposes. The scope of practice is becoming more comprehensive and requires increasing co-operation with other design professionals, related sciences and
the broader community. |
