Following the damage caused by cyclone "Rosita" Blackwell & Associates were asked to review the Intercontinental Cable Beach Resort's landscape – with a view to developing a new Landscape Master Plan.

The work commenced with a review of the cyclone damage and the best methods by which the landscape could be re-established – to a standard commensurate with the Cable Beach Resort's five star rating.

Whilst a new Landscape Master Plan was prepared the magnitude of the issues identified in the original review were recognized by the client as being of paramount importance. This sparked two further planning exercises.
