Blackwell & Associates were commissioned to redevelop the existing Hillary’s Boat Harbour into a "world class" boating harbour for locals and tourists alike. The existing built environment poorly caters for the continually increasing visitation and lacks overall cohesiveness along the beachfront with a poorly defined entrance.

Blackwell & Associates’ proposal seeks to unify the beachfront into a vibrant activity area allowing for the wide range of existing uses, including fairs and boat shows, along with the provision of new uses and unique events. The proposal significantly increases security and disabled access to previously inaccessible locations.
