The client commissioned a multi-disciplinary design team, with Blackwell & Associates as landscape architects, to undertake the adaptive redevelopment of the Heathcote Hospital site in Melville.

Blackwell & Associates scope of works included all hard and soft landscape work, including conceptual design on the exciting new "Success Playground".

The new development provides for a diverse range of community functions with a restaurant complex in Canning House overlooking the Swan River. The site planning also incorporates a significant passive outdoor recreation focus.
