This small project was a real delight to be involved in. The client's budget didn't extend very far so their brief dictated a simple, cost-effective shelter and barbecue arrangement that could be installed in stages. The site was adjacent to an existing children's playground facility in Rockingham Park.

The challenge was to come up with a simple modular design that could be installed singly or as a larger ensemble without compromising the design.

Blackwell & Associates also coordinated a separate contract to substantially improve the general park lighting around the car park and barbecue facilities.
